Canvas & Crowns is a creative empowerment program that celebrates identity, culture, and self‑worth through natural hair education, mentorship, and meaningful conversation. Youth are invited to explore who they are, embrace the beauty they were born with, and learn practical hair‑care and hygiene skills that build confidence and pride.
Beyond styling techniques, participants discover a deeper truth — that their value has never been defined by hair texture, skin tone, or how closely they resemble someone else’s idea of beauty.
Our Expertise
Led by certified Hair Specialists trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma‑Informed Care, our facilitators ensure that Canvas & Crowns is a full‑service experience for youth — blending wellness, creativity, and cultural affirmation in every session.
